Hotel Roger de Llúria is located in a very central and unbeatable location, the Eixample, where our clients will find a wide variety of shops, incredible places and a wide gastronomic offer with authentic culinary recipes and, not necessarily, in very touristic restaurants.

  • CASA ALFONSO: Traditional restaurant open since 1934 with a rustic atmosphere and frequented by national and international celebrities; you can taste a wide variety of Iberian hams, local cheeses, foie etc.

  • CUINA LAETANA: Cozy. Mediterranean specialties: rice and fish.

  • SERGI DE MEIÁ: Catalan Cuisine (Slow Food), a fantastic fusion between vanguard and tradition.For foodie lovers.

  • EL GLOP: Typical restaurant-farmhouse that has a wide menu of grilled meats, toasts etc.

  • CIUDAD CONDAL: One of the best known Tapas Bars that has a nice terrace on the elegant Rambla Catalunya.

  • EL NACIONAL: A gastronomic space with inside multiple outlets, surprising in all aspects! Definitely highly recommended. From tapas to raw oysters, fresh fish from the central fish market, etc.

  • CA LA NURI: Typical Mediterranean restaurant that prepares seafood and rice dishes with seasonal products.

  • EL ASADOR DE ARANDA: for meat lovers, especially roasted baby pig. Good cellar.

There are also curious and artisanal shops and stores around the Hotel, for example:

  • CHOCOLATES EL BRESCÓ, without any doubt an artisan chocolate temple located on the ground floor of CASA CALVET, a modernist icon as it is one of Gaud’s first works. The space works at the same time as gourmet chocolate and Tea Room.

  • COLMADO MURRIA: an authentic establishment of the Ensanche that reflects all the magic of modernism. Founded in 1898, specialized in Catalan and international gastronomic products. It also offers an assortment of artisan cheeses, cold cuts, oils and wines. A must for any food gift. A total gem. Just one step ahead, we are at:

  • FLORES NAVARRO: A classic in the world of flowers and gardening, known as the city garden, a place full of life and colors, considered a leading flower shop for more than 65 years.}

  • PALAU DE LA MUSICA: The maximum representative of Catalan modernism, it is an architectural pearl of modernism, the only concert hall declared a World Heritage by UNESCO.

  • BASÍLICA DE LA CONCEPCIÓ: Originally it was the Monastery of Junqueras and in 1879 it was transferred stone by stone to the current location. It has a beautiful cloister.
